Fone AI uses advanced technology to distinguish from other speech-based IVRs. Our generative models are intitutive and neural voices are more human-like.

Can Fone AI be used for inbound or outbound calls?

Fone AI can be used for both inbound as well as outbound calls. The call initation should be from Asterisk and when transferred to an extension connected with Fone AI, it works!

Can Fone AI be used as a standalone app?

No, Fone AI needs Asterisk v16.6+ to handle telephony. In case you have a different PBX, we recommend you to maintain an Asterisk PBX in the middle as a proxy PBX.

Does Fone AI provide telephony or VoIP services?

No, Fone AI is neither a telephony PBX provider nor a VoIP provider. It is an AI voice agent SaaS offering for Asterisk.

Does Fone AI provide features like CDR, call barging, and other common features?

CDR, audio recording, barging should be handled in the Asterisk side. Fone AI does not provide telephony features that already exists in Asterisk. This is purposely built for AI enablement and doesn't come with unwanted features.

Is it safe to use Fone AI?

Your data and details are stored securely by Fone AI. However, the compliance and the legal matters for using Fone AI depends on your use-case and your law of land.

Is the service available globally?

The service can be accessed globally. However, for best results the recommended geographies to use are Americas and the European regions

Does Fone AI provide white-label reseller options?
